Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — help us understand website usage; data is typically aggregated.
Marketing cookies (Google Ads) — used to measure advertising effectiveness and may measure whether ads lead to appointments.
7.2 Consent
Where required by law, non-essential cookies are used only with your consent. You can accept, reject, or manage preferences via the cookie banner, and you may withdraw consent at any time. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for advertising.
8. Use of third-party services (Data Processors)
We use trusted third-party providers to support our services. These providers act as data processors and process data only under our instructions.
8.1 Medical and booking systems
Our electronic medical record (EMR) system (e.g. DrChrono or a similar provider) and our online appointment-booking widget (NextPatient) store medical and appointment data securely, are separate from the public website content, and include access controls and healthcare-level security.
8.2 Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics and Google Ads. These services may collect device and browsing data, use cookies and tracking technologies, and process data on servers outside Israel. They are activated only with your consent where required.
8.3 Call handling and communication services
We may use a third-party call-handling or after-hours answering service (such as Kishurit) to manage incoming calls when the clinic is unavailable. Basic information (such as your name and phone number) may be processed by the service provider, which acts under contractual obligations to protect your data.
9. Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers where necessary, including IT and hosting providers, analytics and advertising providers, call-handling services, and medical/booking system providers. All such providers are required to protect your data and use it only for specified purposes.
10. Data security
We implement appropriate safeguards, including HTTPS encryption, secure EMR systems, role-based access control, system monitoring and updates, and data separation between medical and website systems.
We do not link website analytics data with identifiable patient medical records.
11. Data retention
11.1 Medical data
We retain medical records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements in Israel. During mandatory retention periods, records cannot be deleted; afterward, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
11.2 Website and analytics data
Identifiable analytics data (Google Analytics) is retained for up to 14 months. Aggregated, de-identified statistics (e.g. monthly traffic totals) may be kept longer for year-over-year trend analysis — these contain no personal data.
11.3 Communication data
Stored as long as needed to respond to inquiries and manage services.
12. International data transfers
As we serve international patients, your data may be processed outside your country of residence. Some service providers (e.g. Google and NextPatient) may process data outside Israel; messaging via WhatsApp (see section 6) is also processed internationally by Meta. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are implemented.
13. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion (subject to legal limits); restrict processing; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and request data portability (where applicable).
